A four-point, non-isolated SLC 500 standard analog voltage output module is the Allen-Bradley 1746-NO4V.
Its backplane current specifications are 55 mA at 5 volts and 145 mA at 24 volts, and its output range is -10 to 10 volts, -1 LSB DC.
By turning on SW1 external, an external 24 VDC power source can be used with this module. This module may use the backplane power as its power source in lieu of an external supply if it has enough power.
The 1746-NO4V features a maximum load reactance of maximum load current of 10 mA, and field wiring to backplane isolation of 500 Volts DC.
This module employs a 16-bit two's complement and is factory calibrated.A member of the SLC 500 product platform, the Allen-Bradley 1746-NO4V module is an analog output module for a programmable logic controller (PLC). This module's output channels generate voltage signals in the range of -10 to +10 VDC.
To install this module on the chassis, you can use some guides to figure out which slot or chassis the module should go in. Two (2) general elements, such as electrical noise and the surrounding temperature, are taken into account.
It is advised that the module be installed away from AC or high DC voltage in order to reduce electrical noise. Furthermore, installing this module away from the system power supply is recommended.
The recommended installation chassis is the one closest to the enclosure floor when taking ambient temperature into account.
