Job Title: Sales Engineer / Sales Executive – Automation Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Professional with experience in automation systems to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation, process control, or factory automation, with a proven track record in solution-based sales and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for automation and control solutions.

  • Manage existing customer accounts and ensure long-term relationships.

  • Understand client requirements and collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored automation solutions.

  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and technical presentations to clients.

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals within the assigned territory.

  • Stay updated with emerging automation technologies and market trends.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecasts using CRM tools.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field) or equivalent technical background.

  • 3+ years of experience in sales within the automation, robotics, or industrial controls sector.

  • Strong understanding of PLCs, SCADA, robotics, sensors, motion control, and process automation systems.

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into business solutions.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with major automation brands (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, ABB, Schneider, Omron, etc.).

  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IIoT, and digital transformation concepts.

  • Background in technical sales, solution engineering, or channel management.
