The right-hand end of the base unit or expansion unit (see Digital Expansion Units below) is where the Mitsubishi digital expansion blocks are attached, and this end also supplies power to them.


There are 16 relay-type outputs on this module. Blocks of input are opto-isolated. The base unit's size determines how many blocks can be added.

A digital value of 12 bits is converted into an analog output of two points voltage and current output by the FX2N-2DA type analog output block henceforth referred to as the FX2N-2DA and the values are then forwarded to the Programmable Controller henceforth referred to as a PLC.
